Business&Law » Patronage over British – Polish Investment Alliance

Business & Law takes patronage over British-Polish Investment Alliance.

British-Polish Investment Alliance is a brand-new, cutting-edge initiative organized by The Investors’ Club Student Society from Warsaw School of Economics. The project is supported by prestigious business circles, investment banks, consulting firms, government institutions and other students’ societies from recognized Polish and British Economic Universities.

BPIA is a unique opportunity for its participants and its partners to get an insight into the markets, culture and possibilities for business development in both Poland and Great Britain.

The main objective of the initiative is to establish lasting and long-term British-Polish partnership within areas such as economy, business, politics and culture. To fulfill this ambition the organizers aim to create an effective platform for networking between students from the best Polish and British business schools as well as between employers on the local financial markets. In addition, it is essential to promote Poland among the Brits.

British-Polish Investment Alliance consists of two complementary parts: 1. Held in the UK, in which a delegation of 25 high-potential Polish students visit London, Oxford and Cambridge. So far they confirmed their presence at Polish Economic Forum in London School of Economics as well as the appointments in London headquarters of: JP Morgan, Nomura, Merrill Lynch, Bloomberg, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Commerzbank, Google etc.

2. Held in Poland, in which a delegation of 25 high potential British students visit Warsaw and other significant academic cities, where they will meet with student societies, experience workshops with partner companies and will participate in a key event – Investment Conference concerning M&A in CEE, law aspects of mergers, lobbying and project finance, start-ups’ case studies. BPIA is an innovative initiative that aims to connect academic societies, business and government institutions from the UK and from Poland. In the face of growing popularity of the Polish market among investors, as well as new possibilities to invest and globalization, the project is very likely to succeed and establish a long-lasting cooperation within many areas.
